Mustang is one of the most mysterious territories and less known of Nepal. Its dry landscape with eroded soil and very little vegetation has much less rain than the rest of Nepal. The main colours of the ground are red, yellow and brown. It is relatively easy to walk along the route but often we will be followed by strong winds, particularly in the evenings and at nights. This old kingdom is probably the last original settlement of the Tibetan culture. It has been closed to tourism for many years and it has lived isolated from civilization, keeping its own and ancestral culture which makes it unique and rich.Mustang is the capital, a walled town ruled by a religious leader. Like in the whole of the Himalayas, this area provides us with spectacular landscapes from which we would point out the peak of Dhaulagiri of 8.167 m (26.795 feet) and Annapurna of 8.091 m (26.545 feet). We can find more than 35 mountains of more than 6.000 meters high (19.680 feet).

Bhutan is a hidden paradise that is perched high on the mighty Himalayan range. This small country is marked on the respect by environment and the cultural Buddhist traditions; it's opened the doors to the tourism on 70s. This pristine environment is home to exotic wild life and is a last refuge for endangered species like the Black-Necked Crane, the Blue Sheep, the Golden Langur, even the Royal Bengal Tiger. The Bhutanese Government is very reserved about allowing visitors into the country. Independent travel to Bhutan is opening up but it's not something the Government encourages. Generally, visitors to Bhutan must either be tourists, or guests of the Government. The only other options for visiting the country are to receive an invitation by "a citizen of some standing" or a volunteer organization. All tourists must travel on a preplanned, prepaid, guided package tour or custom designed travel program
